Who We Are

We are an independent health and social care provider, that provides supported accommodation for young people, who are in the care of the local authority. Headzpace Therapeutic Care offers individual support packages to young people aged over sixteen, Headzpace Therapeutic Care has a person-centred approach, and each package is developed based on individual need, with an aim for young people to develop their independent living skills and achieve their full potential as part of wider society.
Our Mission Statement
At Headzpace Therapeutic Care our mission is to meet the identified needs of each young person in our care, thereby helping them to overcome their difficulties, fulfil their potential and achieve the best possible outcomes. To achieve these objectives, we believe that young people require the following:
- A caring environment that is safe, stable, nurturing, and non-judgemental.
- Carers who are fully trained in therapeutic care models such as PACE and the Secure Base Model.
- Bespoken care plans which include health care, mental health support, therapy, and education.
- Thoughtful, considered, and informed approaches to the development and implementation of therapeutic care programmes to meet each individual need.
Development
Each home within Headzpace Therapeutic Care is unique and has been developed to meet the needs of the young person in placement. The young people in placement have their own bedrooms for privacy, there are communal areas of the home to support social interaction and bathrooms for young people and staff. There are separate spaces allocated for staff, which don’t impinge on the young person home. Depending on the needs of the young person, the home may have additional features, such as a sensory room, games room or craft room. Each home is equipped with resources to enable the young people to engage in positive activities within the home, as part of their support plan.
